Following on from my hijacking of Ofir's thread regarding a Pacman watchface... in which I mentioned I was working on Pacman the game for Pebble...
Sitting in LAX waiting for onward connection. The evening coding went quite well. Still a few pieces to complete, but it's looking pretty damn cool (yes @Ofir, that's still ok in my books!). The controls are still challenging during frantic play (ghost on ya 6!) - I'm using down to turn left and up to turn right, with the select button reversing direction. It's ok, but when you're inverted (ie heading down) the left/right thing can leave you confused.. well, me anyway. I thought about changing the buttons so that when heading left or right the up/down would take you up or down, and then when heading up or down the buttons would take you left/right. But I think that's going to be even more confusing to remember the changing buttons even though it makes more sense when you're looking at the maze. Can you tell I just got off a 14hr flight...? ;-)
Thoughts? I can put multiple configurations in of course and let the player choose at the start... just wondering what might work best.
Cheers,
