As a keen sailor I was always frustrated by the way countdown timers worked and so have created an app that does yacht timing countdown and acts as a stopwatch.
You can toggle the mode (even as it runs) - press and hold select button for a long time.
This is based on Katherine Berry's stop watch so big thank you for code she posted for this.
Special features for yacht racing timer.
Lap timer finds nearest gun before or after i.e. at 4:30 or 3:30 or 2:01 will set to 4 minute gun and reset timer countdown. If below 2 mins sets to 1 minute. So lets you keep countdown running and resync to start sequence. You can find source here along with built app here and a picture of it in action at start here.
Now has 3 major modes stop watch, countdown, yacht timer. Countdown timer adjustements of Hours, minutes and seconds. toggle modes by pressing select for a long time. Button graphics change to up, down in adjustment mode.
