I've spent several hours over the past few days tinkering with a watchface idea (and subsequently brushing up on the C that I knew Once Upon A Time), and I think I'm ready to share the result with the world!
TeXcuse looks like your average Big Time watchface - because it is - until you flick your wrist, at which point it will randomly generate a verbose string of technical-sounding gibberish perfect for telling your boss about the hard work that's been keeping you busy.
A few example Technical Excuses (TeXcuses, get it?) that I just generated:
• "updating due to serious gateway condition errors"
• "debugging unregistered transmission crashdump problems"
• "investigating undertermined service halt warnings"
• "preventing nullified timing anomaly errors"
You get the idea. In its current form, the face is capable of generating over five million unique permutations, and I hope to update it with additional words and phrases in the coming days and weeks. I'm also planning to implement some configuration options (auto-timeout, color invert, what else?) once I learn myself how to do that ;)
At any rate, I'd appreciate it if you'd check out TeXcuse and let me know what you think, and PLEASE let me know if you have suggestions for words to be added or options that should be configurable.
