Hi friends, I developed an impact detection app making use of the pebble accelerometer. This can be used for fall detection, car or bike crash detection etc by setting the appropriate thresholds. Once it detects a fall or crash, it sends alert SMS to pre-determined contacts along with the GPS location. The code is completely opensource and is available at https://github.com/Hitheshaum/fall-detection. Also you can send emergency messages just by pressing select button on pebble.
