This app accesses the Nest service directly. Your credentials are stored within the Leaf app space and never transferred to a third-party.
Known Issue(s):
- The Nest service sometimes responds to the Leaf data request with what seems to be a redirection message, resulting in a message stating "No Nests were found for the given Nest account." Until a way is found to handle this, a popular workaround is to change your credentials in the Leaf settings so that authentication fails, and then change them back.
- There are some rare cases of not being able to authenticate at all using Leaf. This is still under investigation.
