It's "Internet Time"!
A few years ago, Swatch (a Swiss watch company), proposed a new unit of time: .beats. Instead of 24 hours, one day has 1000 .beats. And because there aren't any time zones or region-specific adjustments (ie Daylight Savings), a .beats time is the same across the globe.

Because the Pebble does not internally track time zone or DST, you will have to download the correct version for your region. There are currently 13 variants, covering most time zones from -8UTC to +4UTC.
