I wanted a watch face that:
- is easy to read at a glance, with very little clutter
- is unique looking, not just a standard digital or analog clock
- has no distracting motion or animation
This is what I came up with.
It looks somewhat like a ruler. A line across the center of the screen indicates 'now'. Time (the ruler) slides by under the line, with the current time being at the center line. Marker lines are every 5 minutes, with the hour number and 30-minute marks shown as big numbers. It updates once a minute and the motion is barely noticeable even if you're looking, everything just shifts one pixel up. It honors the watch's user preferences for 12/24 hour format.
This is a Pebble 2.0 watch face and won't work on 1.x.
