Hello,
I've developed a Bike Cadence Meter using the accelerometer.
http://labs.jayps.fr/pebble/bikecadencemeter/bikecadencemeter-1.0.0-beta1.pbw
It's a first beta version. It works better on a nice road with a good asphalt (I will try to do more advance filtering later).
You can obtain best results if you attach your watch on the bike handlebars.
You can adjust sensibility with up/down buttons.

PS: I will include it in Pebble Bike later :)
