I wanted to do a watchface that's a bit diffferent... Why not make it bigger than the screen?
Depending on the current time, the watch plate shifts (or you can say the view pans / zooms in on the area where the minute hand points).

Advantages:
+ Unusual look
+ Easy reading
+ A bigger watch

The theory behind:
You might ask why I dont bother that the hours hand can get cut off a bit if it points in a direction opposite from the minutes hand. Well I think, if you know the minute, the hours can have only 12 positions per 360 degrees, which means steps of 30 degrees - so you only need a very low accuracy to read the hour correctly, and even half of the hour hand would be sufficient for that. That's why I think it is a good idea to focus on the minute.

The watch plate moves every quarter of an hour in 2 steps. I did not want to make it move continuously all the time, because that would include a lot of not-so-nice views (where just a few pixels are cut off from the side of the plate). But I do think about creating a smoother transition maybe within one minute or a few seconds. Still I also want to keep an eye on battery runtime :-)

Find it at p10n.net or mypebblefaces.

This is my first watch face, and it is not perfect yet* - but I thought I share it and I would be happy for some feedback! :-)
What do you think?

(* The minute hand gets cut off somewhere at the bottom of the screen, but not at the right - I did not find a reason for this yet.)
